The Process

360Value Collaboration is an innovative web-based process that can be customized to meet your particular underwriting needs. It‘s easy to use for agents and property owners alike, requiring only an e-mail address and Internet access.

It starts after the agent calculates the initial replacement cost estimate in 360Value. This estimate can be based on information provided by the property owner or pre-filled from the ISO PushPin database. Once the estimate is complete, the property owner is sent an e-mail with a link to their valuation.

360Value Collaboration allows property owners to review the information entered about the property and, optionally, the resulting replacement cost estimate developed by the agent. The property owner then has the option to accept the valuation, edit the current information, or add more details about their property. If the property owner makes changes or adds more detail, the ability to recalculate the replacement cost estimate is also available at your discretion.

When the property owner is finished, the agent is alerted to any changes and has the opportunity to review and accept the changes into the agent’s 360Value file. Once it is complete, the agent can pass the property-owner-approved replacement cost estimate to the insurer for underwriting. If additional information is needed, the agent can reconnect with the property owner through online collaboration or by phone to address any concerns.

You Decide Your Customers’ Access

360Value collaboration is fully customizable and allows you to choose the level of access you provide your customers. When a valuation is sent to the property owner, it is sent with one of three distinct levels of involvement, predetermined by your company:

  • Low-level involvement allows the property owner to view the agent-entered property data and accept or reject it. The property owner is limited to simply verifying what the agent entered into the valuation.
  • Mid-level involvement allows the property owner to edit agent-entered property data without seeing the agent-generated replacement cost estimate. This permits the property owner to make appropriate changes to the property data used to develop the replacement cost estimate.
  • High-level involvement allows the property owner to view and edit all the data in their 360Value account. This grants the same access the agent possesses and lets the property owner view the agent-generated replacement cost estimate and edit agent-entered property data. When the property owner and agent come to an agreement on the valuation of the structure, the property owner accepts responsibility for the accuracy of the valuation.
With so much riding on the reliability of replacement cost estimates, the efficient collection of detailed and reliable data is invaluable. 360Value Collaboration provides you the property information you need to estimate reliable replacement costs from the person who knows more about the property than anyone else, without the expense. Additionally, 360Value Collaboration will help your company enhance customer service and improve overall insurance-to-value.
